John Locke and "The Enlightenment"

John Locke was mainly the most famous of the Enlightenment Thinkers. His ideas heavily influenced Thomas Jefferson when he wrote the U.S. Constitution. Theses ideas are still known today. according to John Locke "All men are created equally", meaning that we as humans should all be treated equally, no matter race, color or gender. He says, that we all the the same rights. these right would be that we should all have "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." The people such as our selfs have the right to alter or to abolish the goverment if anything goes wrong or if we dont like or agree with them.

We the people give all the goverment all the power. therefore we have the power to abliosh them as well. the goverment comes from the people. so if the goverment messes up or makes a mistake we as the people also need to help fix the problems. It is also our right, and our duty to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
